Child’s Destiny of Hope has set up an orphanage in Chawolo. Currently there are 7 children living there. They visit a good primary school in Chawolo. A number of them have completed the last year of elementary school and will move on to secondary school in 2012.

The orphanage is run with the help of local staff. These staff members provide daily care and supervision of the children and help them with various things, like homework for instance. Others do (technical) tasks around the house and work in the garden, where different kinds of food are grown for the orphanage.
